For over 60 years, land has been part of my life. I tell my clients I have the best job in the world, I kick dirt for a living. From the sandbox days of toy tractors to riding subdivisions developed by my father and grandfather as a kid, to farming with my other grandad, to building and developing with my family. Land has been the constant in what I have done in my life. Not only for work but also for play, land is what turns me on. A Tennessee native family since 1836, roots run deep with our family tied back to the dirt of Tennessee. But kicking dirt across the country, especially the Rocky Mountains is what really gets me high.
Keith has been active in numerous fields in his life, both professionally and civically. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Cheryl and they have one son, Paul, who helps run the business today.
Some of his work history starts with designing and building of all types as a Construction Engineer and General Contractor, to farming and ranching, to developing land, to being a REALTOR and Consultant for clients and friends.
Civically serving as local Chamber of Commerce President, Coach and President of Dixie Youth Baseball, Athletic Booster Club President, Chairman of the local planning commission, Chairman of E 911, Director of Emergency Management, Commander of Sherriff's Reserve Unit, Director of Emergency Response Team, Fireman and EMT.
In his current position as REALTOR, soon to have 40 years under his belt as a licensee, Keith has given the last 20 years to making the Real Estate business grow and expand in his area and across the US. He holds numerous awards as MAAR Broker of the Year, LAND REALTOR of America, RE/MAX New Sales Associate and Office of the Year. Past Director of NAR, National President of REALTORS Land Institute, CO-Author and Hall of Fame Instructor of LAND 101 for RLI/NAR, having taught across America for 8 years. He is an Accredited Land Consultant and holds the following designations-ABR, ALC CRB, CRS, C- CREC, GRI.
And for fun, he hunts, recreates and travels with family and friends across North America. Paul is a graduate of Fayette Academy and attended the University of Memphis before taking a position with the Memphis Police Department in 2009. In 2017 Paul decided to return to the family business and pursue Real Estate in Fall Time. Paul grew up around the construction and real estate business his entire life. He can talk to just about anyone about anything. Holding his Real Estate license since 2004 and being the youngest person to acquire the designation of Accredited Land Consultant through RLI. Paul is a two time multi-million dollar sales club member with MAAR. Paul is very well versed in the real state business and loves helping his clients.
Gloria never meets a stranger and she's going to make you laugh and smile before you part company. A full-time, full-service REALTOR, she has been a real estate agent for 39 years. Her areas of service are Fayette, Tipton, and Shelby Counties. She comes with a vast knowledge of real estate and works to serve her clients in the best possible ways! She has a very diverse background. She began her career as a teacher and then married a farmer/rancher and learned all about hay, cows, and making a living off the land. I began my professional career in Law Enforcement 12 years ago with the Memphis Police Department. After eight years, I took my experience to the Germantown Police Department where I have served ever since. I am currently a K-9 handler for the department, which has been the most rewarding opportunity I have been given in this career. Although law enforcement and training dogs are my current career choice, my second passion has always been real estate. During my time with the Memphis Police Department I met, who now is one of my closest friends, Paul Morris. Paul encouraged me to follow my passion in real estate and come on board with the Morris and Morris team in 2020. Although my real estate experience is relatively new, the Morris and Morris team, along with their 40+ years of experience, has been behind me since day one and has given me the tools to be a successful Realtor. My goal as a Realtor is to provide exceptional service to my clients and build lasting relationships.
I was born and raised in Mason, Tennessee, and grew up traveling and playing ball all over West and Middle Tennessee and North Mississippi. I have established relationships with so many people through my travels and am a "people person" and relational to my core. I met my husband while he was living in Memphis and in 2011 we moved to Virginia and started a family with the birth of our son. Over the next few years we moved back to West Tennessee, had our daughter and bought and sold several houses and pieces of land. After spending hours and hours online and driving around West Tennessee, and even Middle Tennessee, looking at various houses and land, I developed a passion for buying and selling homes. After 20 years as a paralegal and handling real estate closings, I decided to take my experience and knowledge in the legal and real estate closings fields into the world of real estate and turn my passion into a career. I truly care about my clients and want to do the work and help others find a HOME and to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Nick Schmall is a professional pilot who enjoys helping people reach their real estate dreams. After high school, Nick joined the fire department and was there for several years. Nick then left the fire department for the Memphis Police Department where he was employed for 11 years. While at the police department Nick wanted something to do as a part time job and obtained his real estate license. With the guidance of Keith and Cheryl Morris Nick has now been selling real estate for almost a decade and enjoys every minute of it. After leaving the police department Nick became a flight instructor and Director of Operations for a local flight school. Nick now works for a major airline and continues to enjoy helping people buy and sell real estate.
